Pre-Listing Kits: The great debate

I’ve been working a number of pre-listing projects recently and I’ve been amazed with the different approaches that various people take with pre-listing kits. I’ve created kits that are 6 pages long and others that are over 50 pages long.  Why the difference?  It’s predominantly driven by the individuals involved and their personal preferences. As with all things in this industry, there is rarely any research done to ascertain what the vendors actually prefer.  Our internal research shows that vendors want more rather than less content (it’s a whole other story with listings kits, send me an email if you’d like to discuss this) and that the pre-listing kit is a great opportunity to shape a vendor’s perceptions and preferences.
